The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today announced that Hamden Middle School is one of 8 schools in Connecticut to be named as a "No Place for Hate" school! Hamden Middle School’s designation as a "No Place for Hate" institution recognizes the school’s commitment to taking a stand against all forms of hate and creating an inclusive school community. With COVID-19 rates down and the loosening of requirements, there's a lot of confusion about the need for social distancing and when to wear a mask. This publication - What You Need to Know: COVID-19 Vaccination, Mask-Wearing and Social Distancing - was just released from the Connecticut Department of Public Health. It provides great information for Connecticut residents about what is safe to do and why. Take a look!
Please note that the publication explains that masks are still necessary for all children and adults in school buildings, whether or not an individual has been vaccinated.
