Hamden Middle School is inviting all incoming 7th grade students to attend their Dragon Academy this summer.
Families can select ONE WEEK that best fits their schedule, Monday through Thursday (4 consecutive days), 9:00 AM -1:00 PM.
Whitson’s will provide FREE breakfast and lunch to interested students.
The registration link can be found by scanning the QR code on this form.
Parents must provide transportation.
By participating in this summer orientation program, incoming seventh graders will have the chance to get familiar with their new school, meet staff, and build relationships with their future classmates. Students will be engaged in team building, reading, writing, and STEM activities.

Have a child ready for Kindergarten (Connecticut requires that all children enrolling in kindergarten turn 5 years old by Sept. 1st, more information (here) or just moved into Hamden -now is the time to register!
Hamden has 8 grade K-6 elementary schools, with attendance zones designated by address. If you don't know which school your child will attend, you can find out here.

The Hamden Public Schools Early Learning Program is a 9 hours/day, 5 days a week, year-round preschool program with a sliding scale for fees.
