Welcome to the Library
The Media Center is the heart of Shepherd Glen School. It is used daily by students, teachers and staff for story time, research, book selection, digital citizenship lessons, and occasionally for assemblies and concerts. There are fiction and non-fiction books, reference materials, and games for classroom use. Our International Section has books in over twenty-one languages to cater to our multi-lingual learners. The Teacher Center has professional books, magazines and information on current trends and strategies in teaching.
The Media Center is also home to our Maker Space and Family Resource Center!

Libraries Inspire
The Shepherd Glen Library Media Center is a place where curiosity and problem solving is encouraged. Centrally located in the school, it is the focal point for pleasure reading, information seeking, knowledge building, and critical thinking. Research shows school libraries support student learning and higher academic achievement when staffed by qualified library teachers. At Shepherd Glen, the library media center is an crucial part of every student’s education.
