9325.3 - Parliamentary Procedures - Rules of Order

Meetings will be conducted in compliance with the rules of the Board of Education where applicable and otherwise in accord with parliamentary usage as outlined in Robert's Rules of Order, Newly Revised, except when in conflict with Board policy. 

In voting, the yeas and nays will be taken and recorded. The Chairperson, as a member of the Board, shall be entitled to one vote on all questions. 

New business coming before a meeting may be held over for action until the next meeting at the request of three (3) Board members. New business is defined as any addition to the agenda or any action item not reviewed by committee.
