Soliciting and Selling

The Board of Education and the schools do not endorse goods, products or services. Display or distribution of advertising or other solicitation by or for outside business or commercial interests shall not be permitted on school property without the approval if the Superintendent or his/her designee.

Teachers and all other staff members will not:

1. Use in the classroom any advertising material without the approval of the Superintendent, or his/her designee and then only for educational purposes.
2. Solicit contributions or subscriptions without the approval of the Superintendent or his/her designee.

(School personnel will not encourage, organize or solicit the students for trips outside the continental United States unless the trips have been specifically approved by the Board of Education.)
