All employees of the Hamden Public Schools are subject to the policies of the Board of Education, applicable laws, and current employee agreements.
Job descriptions shall be established for each type of work to be performed by employees.
Job descriptions will include the following:
- Job title.
- Duties to be performed.
- Essential job functions.
- Type and extent of training required.
- Degree of responsibility assumed.
- Other related factors.
These job descriptions will determine the job classification of the employee on the salary schedule. In each instance, the employee will meet the requirements set forth in the job description. Job descriptions for all employees will be provided by the Superintendent and maintained in a separate manual. These job descriptions will be reviewed as needed.
