Energy Conservation

The Board embraces energy conservation and believes it to be the district’s responsibility to ensure that every reasonable effort is made to conserve energy and natural resources while providing a safe and comfortable learning environment that incorporates sound financial management.

The Board recognizes the importance of adopting an energy conservation policy to govern this program.  The Superintendent is responsible for developing regulations to support the policy.  The implementation of the policy and regulations will be the joint responsibility of the Board, administration, faculty, staff, and students. All school community members are expected to make environmentally responsible decisions to maximize energy conservation and produce real energy savings.
