Adoption of the Budget

After approval of the budget allocation by the Legislative Council and the Mayor, the Board of Education will make appropriate adjustments as necessary and adopt the budget before the start of the next fiscal year. The Superintendent shall recommend and the Board shall modify and then adopt an “appropriation budget.” The line items in this budget shall be the line items for purposes of budget transfers under policy 3160.
