School-Community Associations

The Board of Education recognizes school-community groups such as, the Parent-Teacher Association, as integral parts of the school community which can promote educational programs. The Board of Education expects such associations to send representatives to Board and Committee meetings on a regular basis.

Among the many services which such associations can offer, the Board especially endorses any assistance which they can give in developing and maintaining a voluntary aid program in the schools.

The Board encourages active support of and cooperation with school-community associations.
