The HMS PTA has planned an extraordinary eventing for parents. Guest speaker, Officer Kate Cummings, will present information about internet safety.
A Parent's Guide to Keeping our Children Safe on Social Media, will be held on Tuesday, October 23rd from 6PM to 7:30PM at Hamden Middle School.
Please join us for a very informative presentation. It promises to be helpful to all-- even the experienced social media user. Parents are encouraged to register for the program. Please click the attached link for more information and to register.
Parent Portal Access
Hamden's online Parent Portal allows families access to attendance, assignments and grade information for their children. With this information, parents/guardians can stay more informed and involved in their children's education.
Before using the Parent Portal, you must register and receive login credentials. The links below are links to bring you to Parent Portal registration pages.
NOTE: the top link is a registration for PARENTS and the bottom link is a registration for STUDENTS.
Once you have registered, you will receive login credentials and information on how to connect to Parent Portal.
If a student has an outstanding obligation-- whether it be a library fine, lunch fine, overdue library book, etc.-- he/she will have his/her Parent Portal Access discontinued and his/her report card will be withheld until all obligations are fulfilled.
Join the PTA
The PTA is an organization for parents and teachers to help enrich our children's lives at school. If you have an idea for an event, suggestions, want to get involved, or make a donation, please contact any of the officers. Like the car talk guys on NPR used to say "In addition, you can also write your suggestions on the back of a $100 bill and send it in"!
