As part of the program, Hamden Public Schools' staff can download Microsoft Office 2019 ProPlus, which includes the full suite of the latest version of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher, and One Note for PCs. Office 2019 for Macs includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook for $14.99. That's a GREAT deal!
Please note: Office 2019 for PCs is only compatible with the Windows 10 operating system.
Windows 7 or below will not work.
Office 2019 for Macs works with OS 10.14 (Mojave), 10.13 (High Sierra), and 10.12 (Sierra).
How to get Microsoft Office for a home device for $14.99 through Hamden Public Schools and the Microsoft Home Use Program.
You must be a current employee of Hamden Public Schools with an active hamden.org email account in order to take advantage of this program.
- Visit this site: Microsoft Home Use Program
- Select United States as your country.
- Type in your Hamden Public Schools email address, then enter the Program code BF1067D42E in the next line. Click the Submit button.
- You will receive an email confirmation through your Hamden Public Schools email account that provides a link to the Microsoft store. If you do not receive an email within 15-20 minutes, please check your junk/spam folder.
- Click on the Buy Now link to purchase your license/product key.
- Select whether you want the PC or Mac version, and add it to your cart.
- At that point, you have the option to purchase a back-up dvd with your order. This costs $13.99 extra.
- Do you have the need or desire to use Microsoft Office to communicate in other languages like Spanish, Chinese, Croation or one of over 35 other languages? You can also opt for the Microsoft Language Pack for an additional $9.95. Simply select your desired language and click the Add Language Pack button.
- Once you are done shopping, click the Checkout button.
- Enter your Billing, Shipping and Payment information. Credit cards and PayPal are accepted. (Please note that this transaction takes place between you and Microsoft. Although Hamden Public Schools makes the program available to staff, it is in no way involved with the program’s product, support or financial transactions.)
- Click the Confirm Your Order button and you will become the proud owner of the latest version of Microsoft Office! Your product/license key will be emailed to you and you can get going immediately with downloading the software.
