- There will be a Boys & Girls Indoor Track meeting next Wednesday, October 17 at 2:15 PM in room C109 for all new and returning players.
- The girls ice hockey meeting has been rescheduled for next Thursday, October 18 at 3:15 PM in the Teacher's Cafeteria for all new and returning players.

Attention HHS students! Hamden Driving School are beginning their NEW driving classes. Classes run EVERY Monday & Wednesday after school at 2:15 PM in Room B214. You must be 16 & older! Join us anytime and learn how to drive!

The PAWS club members decorated collection boxes for pet donations. Collection boxes are located in the LMC, the first floor faculty lounge, guidance office, both security desks and the cafeteria faculty lounge. All collected items will be donated to a local animal shelter!

Green Dragon Update
The School Governance Council is happy to announce that Mr. Frank Dixon was voted by the HHS community to serve on the SGC as a representative parent. All the candidates were excellent and it was a tight election. We thank everyone involved in the process, including our Library Media Specialists. Without their help, the election would not have been possible.
The next School Governance Council meeting is on Monday, October 15 at 6:00 PM in the school library.

Exciting news! Hamden High School’s state licensed outpatient School-Based Health Center (SBHC) is now offering extended hours for even more convenience to our students! The SBHC which is housed right in the school, is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM when school is in session. The SBHC is operated by the local health department, Quinnipiack Valley Health District and is staffed by a team of licensed professionals provided through a partnership with Cornell Scott-HIll Health Corporation and includes an onsite nurse practitioner, A social worker and a medical assistant.
