We are so excited to be starting a new program of study at HHS next year - the Hamden Engineering Careers Academy (HECA). HECA is the first branch of our new STEM Academy. Students will have the opportunity to earn industry certifications as well as an Associate's Degree along with their high school diploma! Read more about HECA in the Parents and Community Info section below, and consider attending one of our information sessions on January 29th.
Help spread the word to those who need it. Open in January and February.
Visit our Webpage on the our 3R (Rethink-Restructure-Results) Initiative to find out more and see the answers to questions raised by members of our community at recent meetings.
Hamden DECA students raised over $1,100 selling lemonade (and receiving donations from driver's on Dixwell Avenue) through "Alex's Lemonade Stand" - all to help fight childhood cancer. We are so proud of our students!
Nine Hamden students recently competed in the CT invention Convention. Three students were even selected to compete in the International competition! What will these wonderful students think of next?
The Ridge Hill Elementary School chorus was recently honored to sing the National Anthem at a Quinnipiac University basketball game! They made us proud!
