I have been teaching math for many years, most recently at an ACES school in Hamden. I received my Bachelor’s in Math Education at the University of Connecticut and my MS in Educational Psychology at Indiana University.

I am interested in environmental issues including animal rights and recycling. I also enjoy spending time with my family and 3 cats, and all the wild animals that I get to see in my backyard.

Mr. Stanton (House 5)

I have been teaching at  (the old & new) HMS for the past 15 years.  I am a New Jersey native who wound up staying in Connecticut after I graduated from Quinnipiac University way back when.  My roles here at HMS have varied throughout my years, from math teacher to team leader, to teaching on a project based team, which has led me to my current position as part of the STEM academy here at HMS.  Currently I teach a course called Everyday Math. In this course, students will research careers/jobs, create a budget and then use their budget to make real world purchases (ie- home, car, clothing, food, utilities, etc.)
