A Message from the Library Media Center

The last day to check out library materials is Friday, May 24th.

During the week of June 3rd, all students will be returning their library materials.  This includes independent reading books, textbooks and any other books used in class.  Students can pay fines at this time.  Any materials not returned to the Media Center by the end of the week will result in students not getting their report cards, Parent Portal being turned off, and certificates not received at 8th Grade Celebration.

Students will receive overdue notices informing them of their outstanding obligations, every other week beginning Tuesday, May 7th.

Attention Students

Please see Ms. Colburn in 8th grade guidance if:
1) If you are in 8th grade, and do NOT plan on attending Hamden High School next year;
2) If you are in 7th grade, and are not going to attend Hamden Middle School next year.

HMS Traffic

In an effort to resolve the traffic congestion issues at HMS, our traffic consultants have performed a high level analysis of movement patterns and proposed a potential solution. Further work needs to be performed in order to incorporate the rear access drive into the analysis. View the preliminary HMS Traffic Analysis and Recommendations presentation.
