Helen Street Elementary School

At Helen Street School, the PreK Class of 2022 was recognized before Teachers and Family.  A wonderful outdoor ceremony and many cameras at the ready, the graduates received certificates, did a celebratory dance and heard messages from Administrators Dr. Lorenzo and Ms. Franklin.  We wish our graduates all the best as they move into their next academic step!  Bring on Kindergarten !!!

After a few missed seasons, the Helen Street School Annual Grade 6 vs. Staff Kickball Game returned this June !  The whole school was in a vast cheering section.  Team loyalties were mixed among the spectators, but fun was had by all !!  It was a very competitive contest this year.  But at the end of the game, the Staff Team led by its captain, Mr. Lorenzo-- the Staff brought home the trophy !!  However, the final score is under protest and being reviewed by Kickball Officials.  Current 5th Graders anticipating playing next year were quoted as saying, "The teachers better rest up, because we are really good."  ""Wait til next year....the trophy will be OURS !"
