Tiffany Cofrin says she is so humbled to be honored as Hamden Public School’s 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year. Tiffany quickly found her home at Church Street School, and has been there for 11 years. During this time, she has taught both fifth and sixth grade. Tiffany is a product of the Hamden Public School System.  She attended Bear Path Elementary School, Hamden Middle School and Hamden High School.  She went on to continue her education while playing collegiate basketball at Western New England University in Springfield, MA.  She is so proud to be able to give back to a town that has given her so much.  She thanks the amazing teachers she had growing up; inspiring her love of learning and desire to support others, that guided her to the teaching profession.
