#HMSBookBeast
#HMSBookBeast highlights a voracious reader at HMS. These #HMSBookBeasts are frequenters of our Library Media Center, and can be found among our shelves previewing books and/or making recommendations to their peers.
We celebrate our #HMSBookBeasts by giving them an opportunity to share their favorite reads. We create a display in our Library Media Center of their beloved books for all of our HMS community to enjoy.
Lena H.
Lena is the first #HMSBookBeast of the 2019-2020 school year. Lena is a 7th grader from Team DeCarter, and she is an awesome reader and individual. Lena dabbles in fantasy books and other genres too. Congrats Lena!

Gio O.
Gio is our Library Media Center VIP and our first #HMSBookBeast. He is an avid reader of a variety of genres and his infectious love of reading makes him an obvious choice. Gio can be seen reading anything from Veronica Roth's Divergent to Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants.

Reece C.
Reece is a phenomenal reader and person, and has been instrumental in developing our HMS LGBTQ+ section. Reece is an expert on fantasy series, and can be found reading anything from female assassins to the awesome Becky Albertalli's Creekwood series.
