We Are the Village is hosting an after-school open gym for 2024-25 school year at 60 Putnam Avenue.
Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-6:30pm
Registration is required.
Summer
Interviews take place April 1st, 2nd and 3rd 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Hamden Youth Services Bureau located in the Keefe Community Center.
Announcements will be made and students may pick up applications at the Hamden High School guidance office or click here. If you are not a student at Hamden High School but are a Hamden resident and meet all other qualifications, you may pick up an application at the Hamden Youth Services Bureau’s main office at 11 Pine Street (in the Keefe Community Center) or print application from www.hamden.com Hamden Youth Services.

Creative Kids Art Camp is back this summer! They will provide hands-on activities, create original art and projects, and read fiction and nonfiction books about the projects listed below.

July 7 - 11, 2025 Art based on favorite children’s books
July 14- 18, 2025 Ocean/Sea Life
July 21- 25, 2025 Art Inspired by Nature
Offered to Grades: Pre K 4 to 6th Grade
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (no extended day)
Place: Spring Glen School, Art Room
