School Governance Council

The School Governance Council is made up of staff, administration, parents,  and community members with a goal of working together to ensure the success of all students at Dunbar Hill. The council will collaborate on a variety of issues such as: identifying school resources and needs, analyzing data, and reviewing programs.

• The SGC supports the school’s vision and makes recommendations on school improvement
•  Vision Statement: To create a reciprocal, supportive culture of teaching and learning in which we value the diverse students in our care and want them to be and do the very best they can. We will establish relationships, trust, and expectations to foster the development of everyone’s best self through a focus on quality academic instruction and socialemotional support.
• This year our council goal is to build strong and effective partnerships with families and community members that support student learning and achievement.

Our Dunbar Hill School Governance Council meets on the first Monday of every month.  They will be held on Zoom @ 6:00-7:00 PM.
