Church Street Elementary School Home
We recently became aware that Mayor Leng received a viable offer for the purchase of Church Street School. Although we do not yet have full information, we want everyone in the Church Street School community to know that if this sale occurs, it will not happen until AFTER the 2019-20 school year. Church Street students will still attend Church Street School next year.
If a sale is agreed upon, we will work with Church Street students, families and staff in the next year to assure a smooth and effective transition.
We will continue to update you as we receive more information.

Hamden Public Schools is partnering with Hamden Public Libraries for the 2019 summer reading program: A Universe of Stories.
Students entering kindergarten through grade 6 should record the books they’ve read on the public library tracker and return it to Miller Library or any branch throughout the summer for prizes, and/or return the tracker in September to their school libraries. Students entering grades 7 or higher should track their reading online via ReadSquared on Miller Library's Summer Reading webpage.
