Attention World Language Honor Society Italian & Spanish current members and inductees for the World Language Honor Society Ceremony this week, students need to attend a mandatory meeting tomorrow, April 25 after school at 2:00 PM in the auditorium for practice.
Attention students: Class Elections are quickly approaching next month. Any student wishing to run for a class officer position must complete an application packet. Those packets are available from your class advisors, or from Mr. Thomas in Room A318.

There will be a Human Relations Club meeting on Tuesday, May 2, right after school in Room A310. Plans for May and June activities will be finalized.
The School Store will be closed this week due to the DECA trip to California for the international competition. The store will re-open on Tuesday, May 2.

Fundraisers, Drives, and Other Events
Summer Youth Employment applications are now available in the counseling office. In order to apply, students must be eligible for free or reduced lunch and/or receive special education services. There are a limited number of applications available. Please follow all directions. Return of completed applications and interviews will take place at the Hamden Youth Services Bureau located in the Keefe Community Center on May 10 and 11.
The Looking Glass Literary Magazine is holding a fundraiser at Panera Bread on Tuesday, April 25 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Bring the special Panera Bread flyer to the restaurant and a percentage of your purchase will be donated to the club. Join us and support the Looking Glass Literary Magazine.
Please support the freshman class of 2020 and help take care of the planet by donating your old cell phone (broken or working) to the recycling fundraiser. Collection boxes are in the high school library, the middle school library, the Miller Library, the Hamden Government Center, and the Whitneyville Branch of the Hamden Library. Collection goes through early May.
The National Honor Society is collecting items to make care packages for veterans. Please bring travel sized dental products, hand sanitizer, sports t-shirts, and baseball caps to Rooms C311 or B204.
Peer Tutoring is available at Hamden High School. If you need help in a class or have a big test coming up, sign up for tutoring with an National Honor Society member!

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, April 26 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. If you have not scheduled your conference yet, please use the attached form.
10th grade physicals are due by May 1. Please bring the completed paperwork to the Nurse's Office. Students will not be allowed to start school in the fall if a physical is not received.
