Due to the scheduling of the Presidential Primary on April 26, 2016, there will be No School that day.

Instead, school will be held on Friday, May 27, which previously was a No School day.

The district was informed by the Registrar of Voters that the Presidential Primary would be held on April 26, 2016. In order to avoid potential issues related to holding primary voting during school hours, the Board of Education decided to move the staff Professional Development Day from May 27, 2016,  to April 26, 2016.  The district realizes that this may cause some confusion to our parents, but we will be updating calendars, websites, and sending home a notice to parents alerting them of this change.   APRIL 26 was a D Day. That letter day will be made up on MAY 27.  So, April 25 = C Day and April 27 = E Day. May 26 = A Day, May 27 = D Day, May 31 = B Day.

Doors open at 8:30 AM and student walkers from grades K - 6 will enter through the front door. Do not drop off your child at the school before 8:30 am, as there is no adult supervision.

Bus:  If your child usually takes the bus and you do not want your child taking the bus home on a specific day , please make sure you write a note.  Without a note your child will be placed on the bus.
Walkers:  Parents, please form a line and wait for your child to be dismissed to you for the safety of everyone!  If your child is a walker we are asking you to wait for dismissal.  Please do not come into the office to pick up your child between 3:15 PM and 3:30 PM.
  • Grades K and 1 will be dismissed from the lower level at 3:25 PM
  • Grades 2 and 3 will be dismissed through the main doors at 3:30 PM
  • Grades 4, 5 and 6 will be dismissed through the side doors near the playground at 3:34 PM
Should you need to pick up your child early, please send in a note. If you have not sent in a note and cannot pick up your child before 3:15, please wait until regular dismissal times as it is very disruptive to the dismissal process to call students out of class between 3:15 and 3:30.  Thank you for your cooperation with this request.
