Blue Ribbon Question of the Day
All our elementary and middle school students and their parents know about Blue Ribbon - an online program used by the district for two purposes:
- to help teachers and principals understand which skills and understandings each student has attained in Language Arts and Mathematics (and thus provide more targeted and appropriate instruction for each student), and
- to allow students to practice "CMT-like questions" so that they will be better prepared for the CMTs each year.
Every day, a new Math "Question of the Day" is posted for students in grades 3-8 and a reading "Question of the Day" is posted for students in grades 3-7. The Reading questions are based on the new national Common Core Standards, which will be reflected in future generations of the CMT.
