The music departments of Hamden High School and Hamden Middle School are joinign together for an evening of great music on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 7 pm in the HHS auditorium. The students in the Concert band, Orchestra, and Choir for both schools will perform.

Dear Hamden High School Senior and Parents:
As you know, the end of the school year is fast approaching. At the end of the school year, there are many important extracurricular activities that take place both on and off school grounds. Schools have the right to adopt reasonable rules with regard to student participation in extracurricular activities. In short, participation in extracurricular activities is a privilege and not a right.

Today's Meetings:
The next HHS PTSO meeting will be held tonight at 7:00 in room C107. The Afterprom Committee meets first at 6:30 in room C107. Spirit
Award applications will be reviewed and awards made. Please come to
participate and to hear what our student groups will accomplish with
their funds! Also on the agenda: afterprom planning, school budget
news, discussion of upcoming events.
Today’s Debate Team meeting is cancelled.
All NEW Reading Corps members: There will be a mandatory meeting today at 2pm in B201.
There will be an
Italian Club meeting today after school in D212.
The first costume crew meeting for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” will be on Wednesday February 10th from 6:30pm until 7:45pm. Please meet in front of the black box.
The American Math Competition Exam will be given Tuesday, February 9th, periods 2 through 5. Registered students should report to C107 at the beginning of 2nd period.
Today’s Debate Team meeting is cancelled. There will be a meeting tomorrow and Wednesday of this week.
The will be a mandatory Spanish National Honor Society meeting on Tuesday, February 9th right after school in D210.
The Scrapbook Club will meet on Wednesday, February 10th, in room D311.
DeMaio House will continue its Water Drive for the Haitian Health Foundation until February 12th. Students will collect water on Friday, February 5th and Friday, February 12th during 1st period. Please e-mail Mr. Trauner to arrange pick up.
House Leadership Council members will meet next Tuesday, February 9th, in C107 after school until 2:30pm.
Seniors interested in participating in the After Prom Fashion Show can signup in room A216 during periods 2, 4, 5 and after school. See Mrs. Elkin.
Seniors: Tickets for the Senior Trip to Six Flags are on sale in the Café periods 4 through 8. Tickets are $55 and will be sold until Friday, February 12th.
