Parents and Community Info
Freshman Information Session at HHS - October 28, 6:00pm
Parents of children who will be 9th graders in the upcoming 2016-17 school year are invited to an informational session where they can explore the programs and activities that make Hamden High so special! During the session, parents will learn about course offerings, class levels, schedules, sports, the arts and extra-curricular activities. We will also cover supports specifically designed to help our freshmen succeed as they transition to high school. The program will take place in the HHS auditorium. For more information, contact Assistant Principal Paul Giansanti at 203-407-2040 ext. 5051 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Free Concert - Open to the Community!
October 8 and 9, Hamden High School Auditorium
Enjoy the marching band, orchestra, and many other small ensembles as they take you backwards and forwards through time in an incredible updated musical journey. The performance starts with the pop song "See You Again" and closes with "Uptown Funk" - just imagine what you'll hear in between! This concert is FREE and open to the public, and begins at 7:00 pm on October 8 and 9, in the HHS auditorium.
A Photo Finish at the Hamden Color Fun Run!
Superintendent of Schools Jody Goeler just can't keep up with Board of Education Secretary Adam Sendroff - but they both had a fantastic time running in the Hamden 5K Color Fun Run on Saturday, September 19th. Runners were splashed with bio-paints along the route, which made the run extra fun for participants and spectators. All proceeds from the Fun Run will benefit Hamden Public Schools PTAs.
