Hamden teachers Larry Stein, Mike Cebula and Jay Cebula just completed the 2015 Pan Mass Challenge, a 2-day bike ride across Cape Cod. Money raised goes to support programs at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
With the 2015 theme of BOOKS, Hamden High's talented students once again created impressive and creative artwork in the HHS courtyard. Artists and spectators alike always enjoy the ChalkFest!
2015 CABE (CT Association of Boards of Education) Leadership Award winners - Akshar Argawal, Mark Atwood, Heleinna Cruz and Julia Moore-Aiello! The award regognizes students for leadership skills, including commitment, diplomacy, and ability to make tough decisions. Our future is in good hands with students like these!

Attention Parents of Incoming Freshmen!  

HHS Freshman Orientation will be on Wednesday, August 19th, 6:00-8:00 pm. Parents will have the opportunity to meet the principal, freshman administrator and team leaders. Students will learn about what it's like to attend high school, tour the building and take part in an Activities Fair that highlights school life, clubs and athletic teams. Questions? Congratulations to HHS Grad Scott Burrell!

Former HHS student and multi-sport star athlete Scott Burrell is now the proud Head Men's Basketball Coach at Southern Connecticut State University! A Hamden graduate, Scott went on to play basketball and graduate from UConn, and then became an NBA Champion. How cool is that? (Read more on Scott's WIkipedia page
