HHS Campaign Asks Residents to "Pledge to Pledge"
Students in Hamden High School's DECA program believe that patriotism plays a crucial role in our Nation's success and pride, and feel it is their mission to stress the importance of honoring our nation and our armed service members who bravely serve it. Their new campaign, "Pledge to Pledge," was created to encourage students and adults to stand up for and say the Pledge of Allegiance.
HHS DECA is encouraging people of all ages across the country to support this campaign by asking people to send a photograph of themselves saying "I Pledge to Pledge" with their right hands over their hearts. Send your photo image to one of their social media platforms: Twitter or Instagram @IpledgetoPledge. In addition to raising the level of respect for the United States and the American Flag, the campaign also is raising funds for the Wounded Warriors Project. You can visit the Pledge to Pledge website at http://www.pledgetopledge.org for more on this meaningful student project.
